Logan attended Southeastern Louisiana University (SELU) where he received a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety Health and Environmental. His certifications include CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician), GSP (Graduate Safety Practitioner), 40hr HazWhoper, and OSHA 30.
Experience: Logan is an accomplished environmental health and safety manager with a career encompassing industrial, commercial, and government industries. He has excelled in his management roles such as HSE Safety Coordinator, HSE Safety Engineer, Nested Site Manager, and Safety Supervisor on various projects including emergency response and rescue, HAZMAT response, overseeing safety programs in oil and chemical refineries, implementing safety protocols on rocket engines for the mission to mars, new construction, and renovations. Logan currently fulfills the role as a Safety Services Manager at Smarty Safety Gulf Coast. Here he can bring his knowledge and problem-solving skills accumulated across various industries to serve his clients needs. His approach to addressing the safety culture is rooted in mutual respect and strong relationships with each of his clients.
Interests and Passions: Logan is most passionate about spending quality time with his two kids and giving back to the environment and to others. He enjoys volunteering in a variety of ways including coaching youth sports, rebuilding the Appalachian trail, serving at soup kitchens, and helping where he can at animal shelters in his free time.
Notable Achievements: Logan’s most notable achievements aren’t accreditations or awards. Instead its when running into an old player, acquaintance, or client and being able to pick up where they left off years ago because of the strong relationship and bond that was formed.
