Michael Barron obtained his B.S. in Construction Management in 2006 from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. With over 18 years of progressive safety experience, Michael has served as a Site Safety Supervisor for major chemical and petroleum plant expansions, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to safe construction practices. Following Hurricane Katrina, he was entrusted as the SSHO (Site Safety and Health Officer) for numerous U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) floodwall and water pumping station reconstruction projects in New Orleans.
As lead superintendent, Michael has successfully overseen a diverse portfolio of construction projects, including K-12 and higher education facilities, healthcare hospitals, large-scale bridges, municipal waste water treatment plants, and institutional prison facilities. These projects range from $10 million to $1.5 billion in scale, with safety always as his top priority. His experience spans various high-stakes environments where effective management and safety protocols are critical to a projects overall success.
