Payton Beard is a Safety Services Manager at SMART Safety Gulf Coast located in Baton Rouge, LA with the gulf coast region. Payton earned a bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Health, and Environment from Southeastern Louisiana University, where he also earned his Board Qualified Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP) Qualification. Following the completion of his bachelor’s degree, Payton received his master’s degree from Columbia Southern University in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Management. Payton is currently working towards receiving the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
Payton spent the first few years of his safety career in the industrial industry where he was heavily involved with the safety of plant and contractor personnel, construction, daily manufacturing, and emergency response.
Payton provides consistent and comprehensive safety services to SMART clients through conducting jobsite safety audits, meetings, and trainings across the Gulf Coast Region.
