Payton Beard is a Safety Services Representative at SMART Safety Gulf Coast located in Baton Rouge, LA with the gulf coast region. Payton earned a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment from Southeastern Louisiana University, Payton also earned his Board Qualified Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP) Qualification. Payton is currently working towards achieving his Master’s degree from Columbia Southern University in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Management and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
Payton spent the first few years of his safety career in the industrial industry where he was heavily involved with the safety of plant and contractor personnel, construction, daily manufacturing, and emergency response.
Payton provides consistent and comprehensive safety services to SMART clients through conducting jobsite safety audits, meetings, and trainings across the Gulf Coast Region.
